The pharmacist is responsible for evaluating physician orders, dispensing medications, and performing clinical therapeutic monitoring for diverse patient populations. They also supervise pharmacy technicians and manage narcotic inventory and IV admixtures.
A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy is required, with a Pharm.D. preferred and a minimum of three years of experience. Candidates must hold a clear and active State of Florida Pharmacist License.

Performs all dispensing functions required after physician order evaluation and computer entry. Continually monitors patient medication regimens. Under protocol, determines requested medication dosages, orders the medication, and orders appropriate laboratory tests to monitor treatment. Supervises Technicians to assure medication preparation and delivery are carried out.
