The Oncology Nurse Navigator supports the RAPID clinic by assessing patients for barriers to care and coordinating their journey from diagnosis to treatment. They serve as the primary point of contact for patients and families, providing education and facilitating communication among the multidisciplinary care team.
Candidates must have an Associate's degree in nursing, a valid RN license, BLS certification, and at least 3 years of oncology nursing experience. A Bachelor of Science in Nursing and specialized oncology certifications (OCN, CPHON, CBCN, or BMTCN) are preferred.

Required Education Associate's Degree Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program either by a governmental authority, nursing board, or by a licensing authority that has jurisdiction over approval/accreditation of nursing programs (Texas BON 217.1) Experience 3 years oncology nursing experience Licenses and Certifications (RN) REGISTERED NURSE and (BLS) BASIC LIFE SUPPORT course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC), are required. and Preferred Education Bachelor's Degree Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
