Program Assistant - Project Hope for Women and Children

Job Responsibilities

Provides administrative support for Project HOPE for women and children (e.g. filing, emailing, and data entry). Relays client concerns to the appropriate senior staff. Reviews and submits documents to care staff, family members, and other interested parties. Schedules and organizes appointments with prospective residents and their families. Meets with residents to discuss concerns or questions, then relays those issues to the appropriate staff member. Helps clients will out paperwork and attend to correspondence. Maintains current information on available community resources for families to access. Organizes and participates in delegate interagency meetings. Attends all center staff meetings. Assists in the development and update of the Community Resource Directory. Submits accurate, prompt reports as requested by center director or grantee staff. Ensures absolute confidentiality with respect to information records concerning families and children. Performs other duties as assigned or requested.

Education

Bachelor's degree in a human services field.

Experience

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in Substance Use Disorders (SUD) or related field and knowledge of the side effects of substance use on children, adolescents, and/or adults.
