The Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation, planning, and administration of physical therapy modalities. These services are provided based on prescriptions from licensed physicians within an acute care hospital setting.
Candidates must hold a degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelors, Masters, or Doctoral) and a current California Physical Therapist License or applicant status. BLS (CPR) certification is required, and one year of acute care experience is preferred.
One (1) year experience as a physical therapist in acute care facility preferred. Graduate of an accredited Physician Therapy curriculum with a Bachelors or Masters or Doctoral degree with certification in physical therapy. Current California Physical Therapist License OR Physical Therapist License - Applicant (California). If CA PT License Applicant (PTLA) Letter recipient: licensing exam must be passed within (120) days from letter date. BLS (CPR) certification.
