Provide clinical support to physicians and direct care to patients within a clinic setting. Assist in the administration and maintenance of efficient clinic operations and document duties according to the medical model of care.
Compensation listed represents the base range for a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA). Rates for individuals hired as Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) are currently between $22.03- 33.70/hr., based on directly related experience, skills, education, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
This position will be located in Rockbridge County and provide clinical support to the physician as needed and will provide direct care to patients. Duties include performing as a member of the team and assisting in the administration and maintenance of an efficiently operated clinic.
Accurately performs and documents assigned duties under the direction and supervision of the physician in accordance with the medical model of care as provided by the State Board of Nursing.
Initiates implementation of processes and has access to all operational components of the office as required by daily operation.
Has access to operational components of a practice includes access to physician’s office, medical records, medical supplies and locked drug closets|refrigerators.
