How you’ll contribute
A Respiratory Therapist Student who excels in this role
- Assist respiratory therapists with preparing for and providing patient care.
- Deliver routine therapy as delegated by a therapist.
- Assess patient condition and delivers appropriate treatment.
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition.
- Educate the patient and family about the patient’s illness and provide information about community support groups and other resources.
- Monitor, receive, stock, and distribute respiratory care supplies and medical gas cylinders.
- Maintain storage areas with required supply levels and equipment.

- What we’re looking for Applicants should be a current 2nd year respiratory therapist student. Additional requirements include:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) required one month from hire date.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) preferred.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NPR) preferred.
- State Board of Respiratory Care
