About the role

The Dietician is responsible for planning and providing nutrition management and education for residents and clients. This includes documenting dietetic practices and communicating effectively with the healthcare team.

Dietician - Parker at Somerset (Monroe and Middlesex County) Per Diem, $42.00 - $46.00 hourly rate depending on experience, (2) two shifts monthly as needed including some weekends and evenings - The Dietician will plan and provide for the nutrition management and education of Parker residents and clients. 2025 was our third year in a row being recognized as one of the “Best Places to Work in New Jersey” by NJBiz.com, one of the leading business journals in the state.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor of Science with a concentration in Food and Nutrition. Member of the American Dietetic Association with active registration. Verbal and written ability required to comprehend and document dietetic practices, principles and theories, as well as to communicate effectively with Medical Personnel and inter-disciplinary team. Numerical ability required to compute dietetic values of food. Experience with geriatric population preferred. Familiarity in basic computer skills. Current New Jersey Driver’s License in good standing required and willingness to travel to different Parker locations in Middlesex County and Monroe township. Flu vaccination required during flu season.

Requirements

Candidates must be a registered member of the American Dietetic Association with a high school diploma or GED and a valid New Jersey driver's license. Experience with geriatric populations and a current flu vaccination are also required or preferred.
