This position exists for the purpose of providing not only direct resident care with a strong emphasis on geriatrics, but also to administer medications in cooperation with and under the direction of a licensed nurse. Employees will be able to utilize and interpret the resident plan of care, which includes short- and long-term goals. Employees will possess strong communication skills and a strong teamwork approach, which serves to enhance resident care, safety and dignity.
High school/GED/equivalent. Certified Nursing Assistant. TMA course or successfully completed LPN/RN course medication administration class. See competency list. CPR Certification. Basic computer skills. Word. Patient information database (Cerner, EMR, American Data).
Long term care experience desired.

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be a Certified Nursing Assistant, and have completed a TMA or LPN/RN medication administration course. CPR certification and basic computer proficiency are also required.
