As an ER Vet Tech, you'll be an essential part of our veterinary team, providing vital support to our veterinarians in ensuring the utmost care and comfort for our clients' cherished pets. Salary range of $25-$40 per hour plus a $5.50/hr shift differential! Schedule: Sunday - Wednesday 10AM - 8:30PM Some duties you will own in this role:
Assist veterinarians during treatments and procedures.
Monitor critically ill or injured patients closely.
Collaborate with the team to ensure around-the-clock care and treatment coordination.
Offer compassionate care and support to patients and their owners.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
Assist with diagnostic procedures such as bloodwork and imaging.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Monitor and maintain medical equipment.
Communicate with pet owners regarding patient updates and treatment plans.
Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and provide emergency care as needed.
