As a Nurse Tech (STNA) you will play a crucial role in the delivery of client care. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will assist in providing comprehensive nursing care to our clients.
6:00 a.m. - 6:30 pm (36 hrs per wk.)
Patient Monitoring & Support Measure and record vital signs accurately, recognizing when results fall outside standard parameters and notifying nursing staff. Observe patients for signs of withdrawal, distress, or behavioral changes and report findings promptly. Conduct bed and room checks for occupancy and safety hourly or as directed. Assist the provider by transporting or preparing patients for medical assessments or evaluations. Maintain a clean and safe client environment, including infection control measures. Communicate with patients in a supportive, compassionate, and professional manner. Documentation & Communication Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Ensure clear and timely communication of patient information among nursing and clinical staff.
General Support Support emergency response efforts and provide crisis intervention as directed by nursing staff. Uphold moral, ethical, and legal standards in all patient interactions. Perform other duties as assigned.
Must be at least 18 years of age. Successful completion of BCI/FBI background check and pre-employment drug screen. Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience working in the medical field as an STNA or nurse’s aide, preferred. CPR/First Aid Certification.
