We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and team-oriented Operating Room Registered Nurse - PRN (OR RN - PRN) to join our Surgery Department.

As an OR RN, you will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care while supporting patients through some of their most important healthcare experiences.
What You'll Do As a member of our surgical team, you will: Provide professional nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Prepare patients and the operating room for surgical procedures.
Monitor patient status throughout procedures and advocate for patient safety at all times.
Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention practices.
Assist with surgical procedures while ensuring compliance with established policies and standards.
Accurately document patient care and surgical activities.
Contribute to a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment.
What We're Looking For Education & Experience Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Knowledge of patient care practices, aseptic technique, sterilization, and infection prevention principles.
Previous operating room experience is preferred but not required.
Demonstrates strong critical thinking skills and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Licensure & Certification Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
Current BLS certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire).
