The Medical Laboratory Assistant/Maintenance Assistant collects specimens and performs maintenance with additional tasks as noted. Shift: Full-Time (.9) 36 hour work weeks.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required. Previous certification in urine drug collection and breath alcohol technician preferred. If not qualified, must obtain certification for urine drug collection and breath alcohol technician within six months in position. Experience as a phlebotomist preferred. Must obtain appropriate instruction and training to become a phlebotomist. Must demonstrate competence in BLS within six months in position by obtaining certification. Must be certified Mandatory Reporter within six months in position.
