Manage patients of all ages in the pre-op and PACU areas to ensure safety before and after surgery. Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to stabilize patients before discharge or room transfer.
In the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at the St.
Cloud Hospital, you will work with patients of all ages before and after surgeries.
RNs may work in the pre-op area ensuring a patient is prepped for surgery and safe to go to the operating room.
After surgery, the RN will work with surgeons and anesthesiologists as the patient wakes up to ensure they are stable before being discharged or brought back to their hospital room.
In this fast-paced environment you will need to think on your feet along with being flexible and adaptable.
To be eligible for the hiring bonus, you must be an external candidate who is hired into an eligible full time or part time benefited position. Previous employees qualify if they have not worked for CentraCare for at least 9 months at the date of hire.
To be eligible for the relocation assistance, you must accept a full time or part time benefited position and may not have worked for CentraCare in the last 9 months. You must currently reside more than 50 miles away from the St. Cloud Hospital and relocate to within 30 miles of it with 120 days of employment.

Requires a nursing degree, current MN RN licensure, and BLS certification. ACLS and PALS certifications are required within 12 months, and a BSN must be obtained within three years of hire.
