About the Role

As a Radiologic Technologist at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, you play an important role in helping clinicians see what’s happening inside the body—so they can make the best possible decisions for patient care.

Your work helps provide clarity, answers, and direction for patients and care teams alike. Every image you capture contributes to accurate diagnoses and treatment planning, making a meaningful impact on the patient journey.

What You’ll Do in this role

  • Operate imaging equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic X-ray images
  • Work closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging results
  • Prepare and position patients safely and comfortably for procedures
  • Explain imaging procedures in a way that helps patients feel at ease
  • Follow safety guidelines to protect patients, yourself, and your team
  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and images meet quality standards
  • Contribute to a supportive, patient-centered environment

Starting salary of $66,795 annually Comprehensive benefits package to support your health, well-being, and future.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience License and Certification Requirement 1. License to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of New York. 2. Current Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Education and Experience 1. Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology; or 2. Certification from an approved Radiologic Technologist program and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time experience as a Radiologic Technologist.

NOTE

1. As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain the certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) within ninety (90) days of their appointment to this title. 2. Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
