Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS)
Complies with infection prevention procedures, utilizing safety and reliability practices and standards, and upholds all other compliance protocols and practices.
Demonstrates flexibility and/or initiative in seeking or accepting additional assignments.
Supports team and department operations assisting with care of equipment, coordinating with technologists the flow of patients throughout the process. assists other team members when their assignment is slow, finds work to do in the department or flexes off if needed.
Works effectively with patients and families to provide patient care, schedules patient appointments, and performs patient observation, patient transport and assists patients with personal needs. Recognizes status changes, calls for appropriate assistance, and notifies manager as appropriate.
Participates in ensuring reliable performance and assessment of equipment, performing required daily and monthly quality control procedures prior to use. Recognizes the need for corrective action and notifies the Supervisor.
