Cabell Huntington Hospital is currently seeking a full-time MRI Technologist to join our dedicated MRI Department. We are looking for a skilled and compassionate professional who is committed to providing high-quality diagnostic imaging and excellent patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans in accordance with established protocols and departmental policies.
  • Evaluate patients to ensure they are appropriate candidates for MRI procedures, including thorough screening for metal or orthopedic devices.
  • Clearly explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and reduce anxiety.
  • Operate and adjust MRI equipment and computer settings to produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved and accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid State of West Virginia Radiologic Technologist Operator’s License required.
  • Experience in a broad range of MRI procedures including routine, musculoskeletal, neuro, pediatrics, sedation/anesthesia, MRA, and trauma is strongly preferred.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology and hold a valid West Virginia Radiologic Technologist Operator’s License. Experience in diverse MRI procedures such as neuro, musculoskeletal, and trauma is strongly preferred.
