Provide one-on-one non-medical care, including personal hygiene, mobility support, and companionship in the client's home. Manage daily needs such as meal preparation following diabetic plans and light housekeeping while documenting care provided.
Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene Provide companionship and engagement Assist with mobility, transfers, positioning, and daily exercises Support safe ambulation and fall prevention Prepare meals and follow diabetic meal plans as directed Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household organization Provide medication reminders according to the care plan Assist with transportation to appointments and errands when needed Document care provided and communicate changes in condition to the office Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment
Knowledge of diabetic care and diabetic meal preparation preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to client safety Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required Ability to use company technology for documentation and communication Ability to pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record Must be at least 18 years old Previous caregiving experience preferred but not required TB test required prior to employment Dependable attendance and punctuality required Pay & Benefits $14.00–$17.00 per hour, based on experience and level of care Higher rates may be available for specialty care cases Full-time and part-time opportunities available Additional hours may be available based on performance and availability About CareOne Senior Care CareOne Senior Care provides quality in-home care services throughout Southeast Michigan.
