Veterinary technician, overnight emergency (Er)

$28–30/hour + Sign-On Bonus + 10% Overnight Shift Differential Full-time opportunity in Hunt Valley, Maryland Schedule: Four 10-hour overnight shifts (Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday), 7:00 PM–5:00 AM. No weekends. Schedule subject to change. Training will take place on day shift for approximately 4–6 weeks.

At Pet+ER, you'll work alongside experienced Emergency Clinicians and specialists, providing overnight care to complex surgical patients while continuing to build your expertise in emergency and critical care medicine.

What you bring

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Two to three years of veterinary experience in a specialty or emergency hospital.

Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred but not required.

Strong technical skills including phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, radiography, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory procedures, and patient care.

Ability to provide attentive nursing care for hospitalized surgical patients.

Excellent communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced overnight emergency environment.

A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
