Responsibilities

Assess, monitor, and provide wound care treatment for residents Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans Monitor wound healing progress and maintain accurate documentation Educate nursing staff on wound care best practices and prevention measures Oversee the facility's infection prevention and control program Conduct infection surveillance and track/report infections within the facility Manage residents on isolation or precautions and ensure appropriate interventions are in place Coordinate outbreak response efforts and communicate updates to leadership and staff Assist with antibiotic stewardship initiatives Provide staff education and training related to infection prevention, wound care, and regulatory compliance Complete audits and monitor compliance with infection control policies and procedures Stay current on CDC, state, and federal infection prevention guidelines

Qualifications

Requirements
