This is a 32-hour position that requires visit availability on Saturdays and Sundays.

  • Responsibilities: The Weekend Triage Nurse will be responsible for responding to and triaging all clinical calls received during the daytime hours on Friday, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. The Weekend Triage Nurse will be responsible for responding to calls coming in from patients and caregivers, making a plan for clinical treatment when needed and coordinating a response for on-site patient care when needed. In addition, the Weekend Triage Nurse will work closely with the On Call Manager to ensure that all patient needs are met during their shift.

  • Experience: Licensed Registered Nurse in the State of Massachusetts Must have good communication skills, demonstrated ability to work with a team, strong critical thinking skills and triage experience. 2 years or more of hospice experience is preferred. Should have experience working with EMRs. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Experience with Google Suite preferred.

Requirements

Candidates must be a Licensed Registered Nurse in Massachusetts with triage experience and strong communication skills. Two or more years of hospice experience and proficiency with EMRs are preferred.
