Registered veterinary technician – emergency

As an Emergency Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), you'll provide advanced nursing care for emergency patients while working alongside experienced emergency clinicians and specialists in a collaborative, fast-paced environment dedicated to exceptional patient outcomes.

In your day-To-Day, you will

Deliver exceptional nursing care for emergency patients throughout their hospital stay.

Triage incoming emergency cases and support clients during urgent and emotionally challenging situations.

Partner with veterinarians to perform patient assessments, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures.

Collect and process laboratory samples and assist with advanced diagnostic imaging.

Induce, monitor, and recover patients undergoing anesthesia and sedation.

Monitor hospitalized patients and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.

Maintain accurate medical records and communicate patient updates with the medical team.

Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams.

Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture.

What you bring

Current California Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) license.

Minimum of two years of emergency or clinical veterinary experience.

Strong technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, drug calculations, and patient handling.

Excellent communication, client service, and teamwork skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency environment.

A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
