CenterWell Senior Primary Care is looking for a Variable Staffing Pool (VSP) Physician to provide outpatient primary care coverage for senior patients in Greer, SC. This is an onsite role that reports to the Associate Medical Director and offers a flexible schedule averaging fewer than 19 hours per week.

  • You will provide comprehensive primary care services for senior patients.
  • You will manage chronic and complex medical conditions.
  • You will coordinate care with specialists and interdisciplinary care team members.
  • You will complete accurate clinical documentation.
  • You will support preventive care programs and positive patient outcomes.
  • What You Can Expect
  • You will typically see 12–15 patients per day, allowing for longer, more meaningful patient interactions.
  • You will care for seniors with multiple chronic and complex medical conditions
  • You will collaborate with a dedicated, team-based care model.

  • Required Qualifications
  • MD or DO from an accredited program.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics.
  • Active, unrestricted South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain).
  • Current DEA license or ability to obtain.
  • Ability to work a variable schedule averaging fewer than 19 hours per week.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of clinical experience.
  • Experience caring for senior populations.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage, value-based care, or risk adjustment documentation.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.

$310,000 - $368,500 per year

Requirements

Requires an MD or DO degree and Board Certification or Eligibility in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatrics. Must possess an active South Carolina medical license and a current DEA license.
