Assist counseling staff in delivering alcohol and drug-related services while maintaining a clean and secure residential unit. Monitor patient activities, transport patients to appointments, and document all shift activities and infractions.
Must be able to demonstrate a willingness to learn the dynamics of substance misuse, alcohol, and its effects. Prefer prior experience working in a substance misuse setting or a human service agency.
Able to communicate effectively. Must be able to follow directions. CPR and First-Aid certification (the agency will cover all training and renewal fees). Valid driver's license and insurability. Basic computer skills required. A Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification is preferred but not required.
