As a DSP at Impact Support Services, you’ll provide dynamic, person-centered direct care in a residential setting. This includes hands-on personal support, positive role modeling, and skill-building to promote independence and growth. Key Responsibilities Oversee and/or assist with personal care and hygiene routines Plan and implement community integration activities Assist with daily tasks such as meal prep, shopping, and housekeeping Maintain thorough documentation, daily logs, and follow each Individual Plan (IP) Provide a safe environment by adhering to emergency procedures QualificationsREQUIRED SKILLS: Excellent communication, written and organization skills. Ability to use computer programs such as Therap and Paycom Ability to teach/mentor others KEY REQUIREMENTS: 18+ years of age High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license (ability to obtain class E license within 14 days of hire) Proof of vehicle insurance Successful completion of background checks and reference verification Ability to stand or sit for several hours, bend, stoop or perform other physical duties
