We are seeking a dedicated Surgery Nurse to join our surgical services team. This role is essential in ensuring safe, high‑quality patient care during surgical cases. The ideal candidate is detail‑oriented, confident in a fast paced environment, and able to work independently with strong clinical judgment.
Provides professional nursing skills in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the nursing care for assigned patients. The Registered Nurse provides care consistent with the standards of professional nursing. Provides leadership and supervision to other healthcare workers as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Assist surgeons and surgical teams in cases, ensuring all clinical standards and safety protocols are followed.
Prepare operating rooms by setting up instrumentation, equipment, and supplies according to surgical needs.
Monitor patients intraoperatively and collaborate with anesthesia and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Perform post‑operative tasks, including proper documentation, equipment processing, and safe patient handoffs.
Restock, clean, and reset surgical rooms to ensure the department is fully prepared for the next day’s procedures.
Communicate effectively with day‑shift leadership to report any supply needs, equipment issues, or workflow updates.
