Elite Dermatology PLLC is looking for a motivated and compassionate Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our growing team in Tomball, TX.
Room patients and document chief complaints, medical histories, and vital signs accurately in the EMR system Assist dermatology providers during skin exams, biopsies, excisions, and cosmetic procedures Prepare and maintain exam rooms, ensuring proper sterilization and stocking of supplies Educate patients on treatment plans, skincare regimens, and post-procedure care instructions Handle pathology specimens according to established protocols Maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and clinical safety standards
Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent) preferred Prior experience in dermatology or a specialty clinic strongly preferred Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical documentation Knowledge of dermatology procedures, terminology, and skincare treatments a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first attitude Ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume clinical setting Reliable, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
