Provide individual and group therapy using a DBT framework for patients with eating and mood disorders. Manage crisis interventions, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain clinical documentation in the EMR system.
This position will be for September 2026-April 2027. Can guarantee 10-20 hours during this time. Possible hours after April 2027.
Primary Purpose and Function
Provides Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), individual and group therapy treatment to patients in THIRA Health’s intensive outpatient program.
Required Qualifications: · Masters degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related therapy field
· Washington State Independent Licensure (PhD, PsyD, LICSW, LMHC, LMFT)
· Minimum two (2) years experience providing individual, group, and/or family therapy from a behavioral orientation
· Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and/or Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) training and experience
· Experience delivering therapy to eating disorder and mood disorder patients
• Experience or familiarity with Kipu EMR applications

Work is performed primarily indoors, with both artificial and natural lighting.
Equipment used includes standard office equipment, i.e. computer, telephone, fax machine, copier, printer, and scanner.
Physical demands include sitting, walking, standing, bending over, repetitive use of hands, and lifting up to 25lbs.
Position requires close contact with all THIRA Health staff and mental health patients.
Hours and days can vary within a Saturday through Friday week.
Requires a Master's degree in a therapy-related field and independent licensure in Washington State. Candidates must have at least two years of behavioral therapy experience and proficiency in CBT or DBT.
