Provide counseling services to individuals using therapeutic and recreational interventions to support recovery from substance misuse and mental health challenges. Conduct patient assessments, lead counseling sessions, and coordinate with community-based supportive services.
Minimum of two (2) years working in the behavioral health field. Previous substance misuse treatment experience and expertise with trauma are preferred. Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with the ASAM level-of-care criteria is preferred but not mandatory. Solid communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills, including electronic records, is required. CPR and first-aid certification (the agency pays for initial training and renewals). Valid driver's license and insurability.
