Matrix Home Care is seeking experienced and dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an immediate private duty nursing case in Lake Alfred, FL.
This is a skilled one-on-one private duty nursing case that requires 24/7 nursing coverage.
The patient has a traumatic brain injury (TBI) and requires G-tube care, trach care, and ventilator support.
We are looking for compassionate and reliable nurses who are comfortable providing skilled nursing care in the home setting.
Candidates must have experience with trach care and ventilator support.
Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care in the patient’s home Monitor the patient’s condition and report any changes as needed Provide trach care and ventilator support Provide G-tube care and assist with feedings as ordered Administer medications and treatments according to the care plan Follow physician orders and agency policies Maintain accurate and timely documentation Communicate professionally with the patient, family, and care team Promote patient safety, comfort, dignity, and quality of care
Active Florida RN or LPN license in good standing Current CPR/BLS certification Trach and ventilator experience required G-tube experience required Experience with TBI or complex care patients preferred Private duty nursing or home care experience preferred Reliable transportation Ability to work independently in a home setting Professional, dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused Ability to start as soon as possible
