Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process.
• Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff, and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Apply critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to plan and implement patient care.
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and adjust care plans in collaboration with the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve outcomes.

Requirements

• Ability to provide ICU-level nursing care in an acute care setting.
• Capacity to work 12-hour night shifts as part of a 3x12 schedule.
• Willingness to participate in a travel temporary assignment for 13 weeks.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to supervise and coordinate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Commitment to delivering care according to established standards and nursing processes.
• Flexibility to adapt to a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
