Assists with patient care in the Endoscopy Department by scrubbing or circulating for various types of surgery. Supports surgeons and anesthetists while managing the preparation of supplies and instrumentation.

Mary's Medical Center is currently seeking a full time Certified Surgical Tech.
Under the supervision of a Staff Nurse or authorized designee, assists with the care of the patient in the Endoscopy Dept. by scrubbing or circulating for most types of surgery.
Assists the surgeon and anesthetist within the limits of a technician's education.
May perform some housekeeping and preparation of supplies and instrumentation.
High school graduate or equivalent who has completed an organized course of Operating Room instruction recognized by St. Mary's Medical Center.
Certification: Associate of Surgical Technologist (AST) or National Center of Certification Testing (NCCT)
Completion of certification required within 1yr of graduating instructional course.
Previous Operating Room experience desirable.
Manual dexterity. Must be extremely conscientious and have good physical and mental health and stamina.
