Position Overview

HCO Behavioral Health is seeking qualified and dedicated Provisional Licensed Mental Health Professionals (PLMHP) to join our team as Telehealth Counselors. In this remote position, you will play a crucial role in providing outpatient mental and behavioral health services to clients aged 6 and up. The ideal candidate will hold provisional licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (PLMFT), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), or Certified Social Worker (CSW) and possess a passion for delivering quality counseling services through telehealth.

Responsibilities

1. Telehealth & In person Counseling: Conduct individual and/or family therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, & in person, office ensuring a high standard of care for clients. 2. Assessment and Treatment Planning: Perform initial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs and collaborate with them to develop personalized treatment plans. 3. Client Engagement: Foster a supportive and therapeutic relationship with clients, maintaining professional boundaries and ethical standards. 4.

Documentation

Complete all necessary documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any required paperwork, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards. 5.

Remote

Case

Management: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, agencies, and resources to provide comprehensive care and support for clients. 6.

Licensing and

Credentialing: Commit to completing all required paperwork for provisional licensure and credentialing in the state of Louisiana within 30-45 days from the date of acceptance. 7.

Professional

Development: Actively participate in supervision sessions, training programs, and other opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.
  • Current provisional licensure as a PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW, or CSW in the state of Louisiana.
  • Experience working with clients of various ages, with a focus on children and adolescents.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective telehealth interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote team environment.
  • Proficient in using telehealth platforms for counseling services.

Requirements

  • Minimum commitment of 16-20 hours per week.
  • Access to a private and secure workspace for telehealth sessions.
  • Reliable high-speed internet connection.
  • Willingness to complete provisional licensure and credentialing paperwork within the specified timeframe.
