Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - Telehealth Position

Our comprehensive services include Individual Counseling, Group Counseling, Couples Counseling, Teen Counseling, Christian Counseling, and Medication Management Services. The majority of our clients are self-pay and commercial insurance clients, and we are dedicated to creating unique offerings tailored to our providers' expertise.

Position

We are currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team and provide medication management services as part of our telehealth platform.

Location: Remote (United States)

Job Description

Conduct virtual psychiatric assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate medication management plans for clients.

Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, adjusting dosages and treatment plans as necessary.

Collaborate with our team of licensed therapists and counselors to ensure integrated and comprehensive care for clients.

Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding medication adherence, potential side effects, and therapeutic interventions.

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation and adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements.

Autonomy over clinical decisions: You are the licensed and trained provider. We defer to your clinical judgement and expertise about the most effective and clinically appropriate approach for clients.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Nursing with specialization in psychiatric-mental health.
  • Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and national certification.
  • Minimum of 2 years of post-certification clinical experience in psychiatric-mental health.
  • Experience with telehealth platforms and technology for virtual patient consultations.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and medication management skills.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
