The Surgical Physician Assistant provides first-assist support during orthopedic spine surgeries and manages pre- and post-operative patient care. They are also responsible for conducting clinic assessments, performing physical exams, and coordinating care plans with surgeons.
Education & Experience: Completed Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program. Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the state of Texas Certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Previous experience in orthopedic spine surgery, with both clinic and operating room experience. BLS and ACLS certification required (or willingness to obtain).
