Veterinary Technician, Internal Medicine $22–31/hour Full-time opportunity in Hunt Valley, Maryland Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts or five 8-hour shifts per week, with on-call rotation as needed Grow your career in specialty medicine alongside a collaborative team dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. In your day-to-day, you will

Deliver exceptional nursing care to Internal Medicine patients throughout diagnostics and treatment. Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine specialists to provide outstanding patient and client care. Practice safe, low-stress patient handling techniques. Obtain blood samples and perform in-house laboratory testing. Assist with diagnostic imaging, including radiographs. Administer medications and treatments accurately and efficiently. Assist with patient appointments, examinations, and client communication. Support anesthetic procedures and endoscopy cases. Educate clients on treatment plans, medications, and home care instructions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients, clients, and team members. Demonstrate professionalism, dependability, and strong teamwork in every aspect of patient care. Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams. Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture. What You Bring High school diploma or equivalent required. Two to three years of veterinary experience, preferably in a specialty hospital. Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, or LVT) preferred but not required. Strong technical skills including phlebotomy, laboratory procedures, medication administration, and patient care. Excellent communication and client education skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced specialty environment.
