Job Description: Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for participating in patient assessments and providing care, education, and instruction to patients through symptom-based telephone and in-person triage. The RN ensures patients are educated and properly scheduled for care, follows protocols for patient treatment, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to meet health service objectives. This position requires adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and all licensing and accreditation standards, while representing the organization’s mission in all actions and communications.
This is a full time, benefit eligible position typically working Monday - Friday 8am-5pm onsite at our Wyoming Community Health Center. Occasional Saturday mornings and travel to other Cherry Health sites may be required.
One year of professional clinical nursing experience required. Family practice experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
