Our Medical Oncology clinic is seeking a 32 hour Advanced Practice Provider (APP) at the Harold Alfond Center for Cancer Care (HACCC).
Our APP's include Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants who collaborate with physicians and other professional to develop and enact a plan of care.
Clinic duties include, but are not limited to obtaining histories and performing physical examinations.
Our APPs order and evaluate testing and imaging, make diagnoses, and prescribe pharmacologic and other interventions.
They are instrumental in providing continuity and excellence in patient care through their personalized, professional and caring visits.
The department is part of a 55,000 square foot cancer center that serves over 1200 new patients annually. The HACCC provides on-site comprehensive services that serve the patients’ needs in such areas as lab, Imaging, Radiation Oncology and more. The HACCC has achieved accreditation through the Commission on Cancer, QOPI (Quality Oncology Practice Indicator) and the ACR (American College of Radiology).
