Riverside Sanders is now hiring for a part-time night shift Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join their caring and compassionate team in Gloucester, VA! This position offers flexible scheduling with a minimum commitment of one weekday shift and one weekend per month.
Overview Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN, LPN and is ultimately responsible to the Director and the Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable. The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs tasks essential to the direct care of the resident according to nursing home facility policy and procedures.
What you will do
Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met. Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability. Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.

Candidates must hold a CNA certification from the Virginia Department of Health Professions and obtain CPR/BLS and First Aid certifications within 30 days. Prior nurse aide experience is preferred but not required.
