Market context

CASAC roles in New York stay competitive

In New York, CASAC openings often draw steady interest because employers need licensed counselors who can support substance use treatment in a regulated care environment. These roles are competitive when they require an active CASAC credential, several years of client-facing experience, and prefer a social services degree; benefits like health insurance, PTO, vision coverage, life insurance, and an EAP can also matter. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits here to save time, then confirm your license status and treatment experience before applying.
