Deliver comprehensive primary care to Veterans using the PACT model and provide leadership to the care team. Ensure patient care plans are clinically sound and meet performance benchmarks for appointment access and record closure.
Evidence of education, training, and experience in Internal Medicine or Family Practice Board certified (or board eligible) by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists (BOS) in Internal Medicine and/or Family Practice Authorization for prescriptive authority required Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state where the clinic is located, or otherwise meets VA Qualification Standards for Physician Must hold a current, full, active, and unrestricted license/certification in California, or otherwise meet VA Qualification Standards for the position. Must successfully complete VA credentialing/privileging review and a background investigation (cleared through OPM via the VA Security and Investigations Center) prior to starting work; PIV credentialing required.
