Key Responsibilities Registered Dietitians at the Utah State Hospital work with food service department management to assess patients dietary needs, and work with patient treatment teams to develop plans to meet those needs.

They also measure progress, review data and report findings, and occasionally deliver presentations, trainings or instructions to staff, management and clients.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

You must be a Registered Dietitian with a current, active license. You must be a Certified Dietitian with a current, active license.

Preferred Qualifications

In-depth understanding of principles, theories, and practice of dietetics and nutrition. The ability to use logic to analyze or identify underlying principles, reasons, or facts associated with information or data to draw reasonable conclusions. Experience in delivering presentations or training others. Solid knowledge of applicable laws, rules, regulations and/or policies and procedures. The ability to understand, present and receive information clearly, concisely and effectively in written and verbal form.
