Responsibilities

  • Perform a wide range of CT imaging exams following department procedures
  • Set up CT equipment, position patients, and optimize protocols to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
  • Monitor patient safety, comfort, and consent during procedures; address age-appropriate care needs
  • Apply independent judgment to select imaging parameters and ensure image quality while minimizing radiation exposure
  • Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic troubleshooting, and document procedures accurately
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other staff to ensure efficient workflow and patient throughput

Requirements

  • Georgia state Radiologic Technologist license or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • ARRT CT certification or CT certification eligibility
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
  • Ability to work a 3x12-night shift in a hospital imaging setting
  • Strong patient-care skills and ability to work independently and within a team
  • Experience performing CT procedures and using imaging equipment is preferred
