About the role

The RN Circulator ensures the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures by maintaining a sterile environment and supporting the surgical team. Key duties include preparing the operating room, monitoring patient comfort, and accurately documenting surgical procedures.

Description RN Circulator

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN Circulator to join our surgical team. The RN Circulator will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of surgical procedures by providing support to the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to patient care. Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process.

Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring they are sterile and readily available.

Document patient information and surgical procedures accurately.

Assist in the orientation and training of new staff members.

Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Previous experience in a surgical setting as an RN Circulator is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
