The Patient Care Technician is responsible for monitoring vital signs and assisting patients with daily activities to ensure a safe environment. They also document care activities in electronic health records and support medical procedures and examinations.

Description Job Title: Patient Care Technician

This position is Full-Time Monday-Friday 7: 00am-3:30pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, assisting with daily activities and ensuring a safe and supportive environment. This role is essential in enhancing the patient experience and supporting the overall operations of our facility.

Key

Responsibilities:

Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.

Provide support during medical procedures and examinations.

Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Assist with the transportation of patients within the facility.

Document patient care activities accurately and timely in electronic health records.

Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols.

Skills and

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant preferred.

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records.

Ability to lift and move patients safely.
