This role performs primarily telephone triage as part of the care team.
Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing, diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and HealthPartners policy.
Accountability for the quality of care delivered, recognizing the limits of knowledge and experience; addressing situations beyond the nurse’s competency; and performing to the level of education, knowledge, and skill ordinarily expected of an individual who has completed an approved professional nursing education program.
Supports a department within a clinic setting with strong interpersonal skill and flexibility while maintaining patient confidentiality and protecting patient rights.
Promotes a safe and therapeutic environment of care and advocates for the best interests of individual patients.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited school of nursing with current RN licensure in Minnesota and Wisconsin and BLS certification. One year of prior nursing experience is preferred.
