WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN AN OPTOMETRIST Licensed Optometrist or eligible for licensure in Florida Ability to provide primary eye care services Ability to manage ocular diseases, including glaucoma Ability to manage ocular urgencies and emergencies Experience providing full-service contact lens care Ability to co-manage surgical patients Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, ophthalmologists, and specialists The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a team-oriented environment and be dedicated to delivering exceptional care while growing professionally within an established Eye Care Department.

DAY-TO-DAY As an Optometrist with Capital Health Plan, your day will be both diverse and rewarding.

You'll provide comprehensive primary eye care services, including diagnosing and managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, and addressing ocular urgencies and emergencies as they arise.

You'll help patients achieve optimal vision through full-service contact lens care and participate in the co-management of surgical patients alongside affiliated ophthalmologists and subspecialists.

Throughout the day, you'll collaborate with physicians across Primary Care, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Radiology, Urgent Care, and Chronic Care, utilizing our integrated electronic medical record system to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care.
