Salary for this Position

$24.00-27.00/Hour *All Pay Rates are subject to Experience, License or Certification and Location

Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center is one of the largest community health centers in Massachusetts serving Worcester, Framingham, Milford and the surrounding communities. We are a thriving and growing organization, and our team is expanding across sites to support this growth. We are currently hiring a Medical Assistant II based in Worcester MA. This position works with team members to provide high quality, safe, evidence-based care to pediatric and adult patients. The Medical Assistant II serves as a leader and resource on the team. This position will require availability on some Saturday mornings and evenings until 7pm. Essential

Functions: Performs Office Visit Planning/reviews EHR prior to the start of the session and is part of a pre-visit huddle with team members Maintains a clean, orderly and safe environment for patients and visitors. Ensures exam rooms are kept clean, organized, and fully stocked Performs point-of-care testing, clinical procedures, and assessments according to Health Center policies and procedures Prepares patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments Assists providers and nurses in the collection, processing, and tracking of forms In collaboration with providers and the nurse manager, works with patient data to follow-up and track patient results Meets compliance and regulatory standards Participates in practice- and organization-wide training and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements: 1+ Years of Medical Assistant Experience Completion of a Medical Assistant course CPR certification
