Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs as ordered by physicians.
  • Position patients, explain procedures, and adjust exposure factors to obtain quality images.
  • Prepare examination rooms and equipment; ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
  • Monitor and assist patients during procedures; document exam details and verify images in the PACS.
  • Communicate results or notable findings to the physician as appropriate; maintain accurate recordkeeping.

Requirements

  • Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
  • Licenses/Certifications: ARRT Radiography certification required; Oregon OBMI Radiologic Technologist License required; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per policy.
  • Experience: At least two years of recent radiology technologist experience.
  • Other: Active license in the state of assignment; ability to work in a hospital setting with 3x12-hour day shifts.
