The IMCU unit focuses on intermediate care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4 and handles conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, COPD, chronic kidney disease, TDM2, substance use, and encephalopathy, with management of IV therapies including heparin drips.
