Your role as a Home Health Aide As a Home Health Aide at Skyline Center, Inc., your role is pivotal in providing compassionate personal care and essential services to clients in their homes.

Working under the guidance of our supervising nurse and Home Health Administrator, you'll embody our agency's philosophy by promoting good personal hygiene and a safe, healthful environment.

You'll plan and prepare nutritious meals while supporting ambulation and specific treatments as directed by physicians and approved by our nursing team.

Encouraging client independence according to their care plan is key, along with offering emotional support to both clients and their families.

Your ability to establish trusting relationships fosters a sense of confidentiality and comfort.

You'll also document your visits, collaborate with community agencies, and perform routine housekeeping tasks-all to ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere.

This position allows you to make meaningful contributions to the lives of others while reinforcing our mission of community support and empowerment.

Requirements for this Home Health Aide job To thrive as a Home Health Aide at Skyline Center, Inc., you'll need a mix of essential skills that ensure effective care and communication.

Firstly, being at least 18 years old with a High School Diploma or GED is a must, along with basic oral and written communication skills that facilitate interaction with clients and their families.

A valid Driver's License and reliable vehicle with current insurance are essential for traveling to clients' homes.

You should be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs safely, ensuring the physical well-being of your clients.

Additionally, having CPR and First Aid Certification is crucial for providing emergency support when needed, while a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential is preferred, though not required.
